An updated version of our original slide series that has been digitized and converted into CD ROM format.  It includes over 300 images of psychologists, apparatus, tests, etc. taken from the book An Illustrated History of American Psychology by John A. Popplestone and Marion White McPherson.  The corresponding manual has also been digitized and is included on the CD ROM as a PDF file.  Available only to educational institutions, the CD ROM can be purchased for $125 (includes shipping and handling) and will be the instructor’s to keep.

"The Function of the Brain" (c. 1932) Film produced under the direction of I.P. Pavlov. VHS cassettes were produced from the original. There are two versions available: a 90 minute reproduction of the original, and a 45 minute version suitable for the classroom.

"Grief - A Peril in Infancy" (Rene Spitz) A videotape prepared from the original film.

"Experimental Investigation of Babies" (John B. Watson) - "Little Albert". A videotape prepared from the original film.

 

  PHOTOS

The AHAP houses thousands of still images.  Subject matter includes individuals, groups, institutions, and apparatus.  Printed images are available via return mail and digitized images can be obtained electronically.  Please inquire about availability.
