To promote the professional development of its members through programs, relations with other student chapters and the national chapter, and to contribute to the education and awareness of chemical engineers at the University of Akron through activities involving the faculty and student members of the department.

We also try to host activities that chemical engineering students will enjoy when they want to take a break from their (seemingly endless) studies.  Suggestions for new events are always welcome and we encourage all chemical engineering students to be involved and enjoy themselves.

 

AIChE’s Objective:

The American Institute of Chemical Engineers Student Group is a registered student organization at The University of Akron.
