1 To do this Open INTERNET CONNECT. This application is located in your APPLICATIONS folder.
2 Click on the FILE menu and choose NEW VPN CONNECTION

NOTE: If you do NOT see the Server address, User name, and Password fields, click the upside-down triangle to expand the window.
3 Enter the VPN Connection fields as follows
Server Address: vpn.uakron.edu
User Name: your UANetID
Password: your UANetID Password
Check the box ADD TO KETCHAIN so you never have to enter this information again.
4 Click CONNECT

Use the information below to connect to your class folder. To connect to your HOME FOLDER choose the volume STUDENTS instead of your class folder.

Connect to my Class folder or Home folder

1 At the FINDER choose GO --> CONNECT TO SERVER. The Keyboard Shortcut is COMMAND K
2 Type in: myfiles.art.uakron.edu
3 Click CONNECT.
4 You will be prompted for a username and password. Please use your UANetID and password.
5 From the list of volumes, choose your class. *Class folders are organized by the call number of the class.
6 Some people may be prompted with a message about being unable to make a secure connection. Simply ignore this message by clicking the CONTINUE button.

**You can also choose the volume STUDENTS to access your home folder and files.
