Myers School of Art: Majors & Minors

The art education program mandates an expert knowledge in the specific content area of visual art. General education courses are complimented by intense studies in studio art and art history at the Myers School of Art. This combined knowledge prepares teachers to be decision-makers by adapting an applying content knowledge to the needs and interests of a diverse population. Upon graduation with a Bachelor of Arts in Art Education, students are ready to teach in any P,K-12 grade school setting.
