PAINTING THE TOWN

Create an Innovative Paint Scheme to Make a House in Akron a Work of Art
Dates: The Opening reception will be Friday, May 13, 2005 from 4-8 pm.
The awards ceremony will be Saturday, June 4, 2005 at 4 p.m.
Place: The Painting the Town Exhibition will be held at the Akron-Summit County Library.

HANGING STAINED GLASS ART AT STAN HYWET HALL

Program: Arts LIFT
Dates: Wednesday June 14 - Friday July 8, 2004

Place: Folk Hall, 150 E. Exchange St., Akron, on The University of Akron Campus, Myers School of Art, Emily Davis Gallery, and Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens, 714 North Portage Path, Akron, OH.
Through a generous bequest of Lola Isroff, a local arts advocate, and in cooperation with Stan Hywet Hall, the art education department at The University of Akron's Mary Schiller Myers School of Art presents Arts LIFT 2004, a juried, summer arts program designed to enrich the lives of high school students in the Akron Public Schools.
