PBS ART:21 FILM SCREENING
Preview "Power", a one-hour segment from the third season of the provacative PBS Series "Art:21-Art in the Twenty-First Century" at the Myers School of Art, The University of Akron, on Wednesday, Sept. 7, at 7:30 p.m. Each segment profiles four contemporary working artists who build living culture with each painting, sculpture, photograph or installation they create. The full series will run on PBS this fall. As a collaborative event with Kent State University, the segment "Play" will preview at the Art Building on the campus of Kent State on Thursday, Sept. 8, at 7:30 p.m. Both are free and open to the public.
