This area will provide a thumbnail sketch of newly arrived internship offerings which students should inquire into when visiting the A&S Careers Program [ASCP] offices in Olin Hall 325.
 
 

Students interested in an eventual degree in Library Science should ask about on-campus internship placement in complementary areas!

COMMUNICATIONS INTERN - PT 20 hrs./wkly

Job Description:
Work w/communications and marketing staff on written projects [internal publications, news releases, service line collateral], special events and whatever related assignments require careful attention

Requirements:
- Excellent communication and grammar skills 
- Articulate speaking
- Good listening skills
- Fast, accurate typing [Microsoft Word]
- Business professional attire:  no jeans/t-shirts/tennishsoes
- Ability to arrive for work at 9 a.m. Monday through Friday [or whatever time is agreed upon w/supervisor] and work 20 hrs/wkly through Fall

Pay Rate:      $10/hr.

Job Duration:  September 25 through December 8
