University of Akron Athletics
The University of Akron participates on the NCAA Division I level in 17 sports. Men's sports are baseball, basketball, cross-country, football, golf, indoor and outdoor track, soccer and tennis. Women's sports are basketball, cross-country, indoor and outdoor track, softball, volleyball and tennis. Riflery competes as a coed team. All University of Akron sports compete in the Mid-American Conference.
