This year the AVC has had up to 35 different University of Akron students, both guys and girls, take part in club tryouts and practices, with at least 25 different people outside of the University participating in practice and scrimmage sessions. From that group, about 10 guys have made the necesary time and effort commitments to be a part of the mens team that will compete in the '99 OH-PA intercollegiate league. Ian Mann will lead this motley crew into league battle as player\coach. Best of luck to the team in it's inaugural season!
