Jason Smith serves

assistant in bands
at The University of
Akron. A native of
Endicott, New York,
he received his
Bachelor of Music
Education and
Performance Degree
from the Crane
School of Music -
State University of
New York at Potsdam,
where he was a
student of former UA
graduate, Charles
Guy. Jason recently
completed his
Masters in Tuba
Performance at The
University of Akron
and will begin a
second Masters in
Music Technology
this fall. He is a
student of Tucker
Jolly.
