Band Day

Each year The University of Akron Bands hosts "Band Day" at a Zips home football game. High school marching bands join The University of Akron Marching Band on the field at half-time for a spectacular massed band performance. This event is a genuine spectacle of sight and sound.

"Band Day" will be held Saturday, September 19, 2009.  Bands attending this year are Central Catholic High School, Mogadore High School, Newton Falls High School, Springfield High School, Twinsburg High School and Woodridge High School.
