Requirement for an undergraduate B.S. in Biology

Graduate study in Biology at the University of Akron

AREAS OF SPECIALIZATION IN BIOLOGY

To obtain a B.S. degree with an Area of Specialization within Biology, the student must take the required courses listed below for that specific area.  Note - you must take the courses designated A, B, C, and D (some areas do not have D and one area has an E).

If you choose to have an Area of Specialization, you must change your major.  To do this, go to Olin Hall 101 (Office of Dean of College of Arts & Sciences) and change your major from Biology to Biology, Area of Specialization _________.   Once you have done this, you will be held to the area of specialization required courses listed below.
