The University of Akron Student and Administrative Services Building

Scope:

Renovate the west half of the lower level of the Student and Administrative Services Building for the relocation of Central Stores, Mailing Services and Printing Services.

Status:

Central Stores occupants relocated to new location on 09/20/02.

Awaiting Fire Marshall's Life Safety punch-list report. Fire Marshal's office reported they are experiencing a staffing shortage, which is the cause for the delay.

Construction start: 07/01/02.

Construction complete: 10/01/02.
