How
do I get to the N-Drive?
In
the CBA Computer Labs:
Click on the N-Drive direct link on the computer's desktop, or
Go to My Computer > N: Drive.
Outside
of the CBA Computer Labs:

What

Where
is the Lost and Found?
Lost CDs and USB keys are in the assistant's office in CBA 102, they will be held
for only 6 weeks. Other non-valuable items are also kept in 102 for 6 weeks. Lost valuable items are handed over to the Dean's Office (4th Floor of CBA).

How
do I add money to my Zip Card?
Add
money using cash:
Users
with cash can add money to their cards at Value Transfer Stations
located in the CBA concourse (next to ATM machine) or the Bierce, Science, and Law Libraries. Money can also
be added to cards at the Zip Card Office located in the Student
Union. The Zip Card office accepts cash, personal checks, VISA,
Master Card and Discover Card credit cards.
Add
money using credit cards:
Users with a credit card can also add money online at the Zip Card
website http://www.onlinecardoffice.com/uakron.
This website gives you two options.
Option 1: Enter into the Online Card Office as a Zip Cardholder.
This requires a preliminary registration. After the registration,
you can access your account balance and information. To add money
to your Zip Card, select the "Deposit Funds" option from
the drop down menu.
Option 2: Enter into the Online Card Office as a Zip Non-Cardholder.
This does not require registration. This only allows you to deposit
funds into your account. You cannot view your account balance or
history.

How
does a student reserve a laptop for a class presentation?
The
student needs to speak with the lab assistant in the office
in room 102 to schedule a laptop. Laptops are given out on a first come-first served basis, unless it has been reserved.

How
do I connect my laptop to the campus network?
The
College of Business has installed a wireless infrastructure joining
the rest of the University. To go wireless, students at UA will need a laptop equipped with a ``wireless card'' -- a wireless antenna that is about the size of a credit card.
Currently you must use one of the cards that is compatible with the campus network. For a list of cards that are compatible, click here. Cards are available for purchase at Computer Solutions in the Student Union
or from various other sources
including Ebay.
You need to complete 3 steps, install the software, flash the card
and sync your password.
Install the Software - ftp://softwaresvr1.cc.uakron.edu/Aironet/
look for zip file
Flash the card - Stop by Lincoln Building Room 103, ask to have
the card flashed FREE
Sync the password - http://www.uakron.edu/library/gateway/ and sync
UANet password
If

How do I access my Zip Space?
Your "My Documents" folder in the CBA Labs now points to the 50 MB ZIPSpace on The University of Akron GoZips server. You can access this 50MB space outside of CBA Labs using Internet Explorer, for instructions Click here. REMINDER!! This space is not backed up.
