NICHOLAS T. GEORGE

Nicholas T. George graduated from The University of Akron in 1968 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree.  In 1970 he went on to earn his Law Degree from The University of Akron School of Law. 

Nick was founder and owner of the law firm of Nicholas T. George & Associates. In 1997, his firm merged with Buckingham, Doolittle & Burroughs, LLP.  Nick now serves as the President and CEO.  He personally provides day to day consultation to numerous businesses throughout Northeastern Ohio as he is valued as a business consultant and friend to his clients.

Nicholas T. George has excelled not only in the legal world, but also within his community.  He has devoted countless hours to aiding those who have called upon his services.  He has supported many local charities through volunteering his time and efforts.  He has served as the Co-Chairman for the American Heart Walk, and served on the Boards of Heart to Heart Communications, The Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease Foundation, Rotary Club of Akron, American Heart Associations Summit County Chapter, Rotary Club of Akron Camp for Special Children. 

Nicholas T. George’s devotion to the Akron area was recognized in 2001 when he was named to the “Best Lawyers in America” list.  He has also been recognized by his peers as one of Cincinnati Magazines Ohio’s Super Lawyers in 2004 and 2005. In 2005 he was given The University of Akron Alumni Honor Award.  Nicholas T. George currently holds Martindale-Hubbell Rating of AV, which indicates the highest ranking in legal ability and ethical standards.  This mark is established by fellow members of the Ohio Bar Association.  Nick is a current member of the American Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association and the Akron Bar Association.
