COLLEGE OF FINE & APPLIED ARTS

The College of Fine and Applied Arts is actively involved in entrepreneurship through their Dean’s Venture Fund. The Dean’s Venture Fund is a fund that finances the startup up of new ventures by Professors within the College of Fine and Applied Arts. Money is loaned to a select few professors who then work with their students in a variety of areas (e.g., graphic design, music, art, etc.). This past year the Fitzgerald Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies (FIES) sat on a committee to determine which professors would receive funds for the startups of three new ventures coming out of the College of Fine and Applied Arts
