Lunch & Learn hosted a great presentation on Virtualized Infrastructures
Following to the huge success of first Lunch & Learn Series organized in February, CITe organized the second of the series in April 23, 2008. The event which has started with a networking lunch continued with the topic "What If" Behind Virtualized Infrastructures. R. Scott Jobe, a Corporate Member of CITe and also Solutions Architect at Champions Group had a great presentation answering a lot of questions about the topic. CITe Advisory Board Meeting and MIS Open House
CITe Advisory Board met at April 18, 2008, 3:00 - 4:30 pm. Also there has been an MIS Open House which aims to provide networking opportunities for students majoring in MIS and eBusiness. MIS Open House has been a great opportunity for those who would like to improve their networking by meeting information systems executives, recruiters and also alumni. 

ITEE met to discuss the topic "Social Networks"
At April 11, 2008 IT Executive Exchange (ITEE) had its regular meeting. Topic of this meeting was "Social Networks". Meeting started with a networking lunch at 1:00 pm and continued with discussions. ITEE is a forum of group of IT Executives and College of Business Administration professors at The University of Akron that meets about every six to eight weeks to discuss pressing and leading edge issues.

CITe hosted John L. Mariotti at Executive Business Forum!

John L. Mariotti has been at University of Akron to speak on his recent book “THE COMPLEXITY CRISIS - Why too many products, markets & customers are crippling your company - and what to do about it?” Executive Business Forum organized by Center for Information Technologies and e-Business was a significant success bringing industry, university and experience together.
