3rd Annual IT Career Camp Posted: Jan 11, 2012

IT Career Camp (ITCC) is a free event that places 30 high school students into teams that will work together and compete against each other in a week long competition. Throughout the course of this camp, students will learn about various technologies, and what IT/IS professionals do on a day-to-day basis. The event will take place at The University of Akron.

2011 ITCC included activities with Westfield Group, NASA Glenn, Revol Wireless, UA College of Business Administration, Hyland Software, The J.M. Smucker Co., UA Undergraduate Advising, and UA Bierce Library. The students also completed a UA scavenger hunt across campus and enjoyed lunch in various locations around UA. The week culminated with team presentations, awards, and dinner with the students and their families. Scholarships were presented to the winning team.
