Topic: Mobile Software Development

With the explosive growth of mobile devices, apps, and interfaces with all sorts of corporate systems, mobile software development is taking center stage. Come discuss with your peers how you are adapting your software development methodologies to the mobile world? Is the waterfall method finally defunct? Do you prefer some form of agile, scrum, or extreme programming? What is working best, and what are your greatest current pain points?

Location: Murphy Room, CBA 2nd Floor

Time: 2:30pm to 4:30pm

IT Shadow Day at the TIMKEN Company Updated: Nov 15, 2012

On Tuesday, February 19, 2013 from 9:00am-1:00pm, The TIMKEN Co. will be sponsoring a shadow day for UA Graduate and Undergraduate IS Students. The University is observing President's Day on February 19th and classes will not be held. This is a great opportunity for students to learn more about the local company, practice their networking skills, and potentially set up an interview for an internship or full-time position.
