The Snow Maiden
A Fairy Tale Ballet
E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall and Dance Institute of The University of Akron present The Snow Maiden, a heart-warming fairy tale set in a snowy Russian village. This beautiful production tells the story of a child made of snow who becomes a real girl through the deep love of her human parents. Magical fairies, playful forest animals, an elegant Snow Queen, and a charming little Snow Maiden come to life in this wonderful family tale of hope and joy. A fanciful setting, colorful costumes, and a cast of 90 dancers create a delightful beginning to the holidays for all ages.

Ticket Prices:
Regular ticket prices are $20/$17/$14. Girl Scouts receive a $5.00 discount on their ticket, and adults accompanying Girl Scouts receive a $2.00 discount on their ticket.
Note:
- All Girl Scouts who purchase a ticket before October 15, 2010 will receive a Snow Maiden patch.
- Place all orders for Girl Scout tickets by calling Leslie DelPrince at Dance Institute, 330-972-7949.
- Special Note: Backstage tours will be available to the first 25 Girl Scouts to purchase tickets for each performance.
- Tours will take place one hour prior to each performance.
- Tickets will be available for pick-up at E. J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall the day of the performance. Please arrive one hour before the performance.
- A very special "Snow Maiden" boutique will be open during intermission.
- Snow Maiden cast members will sign autographs for the Girl Scouts for one half hour after each performance.
The last day for special Girl Scout ticket orders is Tuesday, November 9. After this date, tickets will be available directly through the E.J. Thomas Ticket office at regular price
