E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall welcomes in the holiday season with Dance Institute of The University of Akron's beautiful production of The Snow Maiden. This heart-warming fairy tale is about a child made of snow that comes to life through the deep love of her human parents. Set in a snowy Russian village, a cheery storyteller unveils this endearing tale of playful animals, magical fairies, an elegant and wise Snow Queen, and the charming little Snow Maiden. Colorful costumes, fanciful sets, and a cast of nearly 100 dancers bring this wonderful family oriented story of hope and joy to you this winter!

Note:
- Backstage tours will be available to the first 50 Girls Scouts to sign up for tickets at each show. Tours will take place one hour before the performance.
- The special "Snow Maiden Boutique" will be open during intermission.
- For one half hour after each show cast members will be in the lobby to sign autographs.
- All Girl Scouts who purchase a ticket before October 9, 2008 will get a participation patch.
- The last day for discounted tickets is Tuesday, November 11th. After this date, tickets will be available directly through the E.J. Thomas box office at non-discounted prices. The box office phone number is 330-972-2700.
