Pre-Ballet
Spring Semester 2010
January 11 – May 8
Class Goals:
An introduction to basic ballet vocabulary and positions of the arms and legs. Children experience dance conceptually and technically through the development of simple movement sequencing.

- Saturday, March 13: Pointe to the Future Benefit at EJ Thomas Hall
- Monday, January 18: Martin Luther King Jr., No Classes
- March 14 - March 21: Spring Break, No Classes
- Saturday, April 3: Easter Break, No Classes
- Saturday, May 1: Parents Observation Day
- Work Summary for Pre-Ballet and Pre-Tap classes will be scheduled for the week of May 3
Fall Tuition:
- Regular Schedule: $206.00
Please note:
- All classes are subject to cancellation due to insufficient enrollment.
- A $10.00 registration fee for new students due with the first payment.
- Cash, checks, and credit cards accepted.
- Make checks payable to Dance Institute.
- Register by mail. Download and print a registration form.
- No refunds will be made on tuition fees. In case of extended illness or injury, credit may be given for classes upon receipt of a doctor's certificate.
- All items should have the child's name on the inside, especially shoes !
- DRESS CODE: A neat, clean, professional appearance is expected. In addition:
- Girls: Solid color leotard (no skirt attached), pink or black tights. Hair is to be off the face, in a secure bun, YELLOW hairband to denote level. (Dance Institute's official black leotard is Mirella #207 princess seam camisole. Make sure to have one for performances for a uniformed look on stage.)
- Boys: Solid color T-shirt or leotard, black tights.
