Summer Calendar: 2008

Dance Institute follows the semester and holiday calendar of the University of Akron.

Schedule:
  • Pre-Professional Children's Program
    • June 9 - July 3
  • Adult Non-Credit Dance Classes
    • May 27 - June 30
    • July 7 - August 7
Summer Placement Auditions
    Audition I:
    • Saturday February 23rd 9:30 a.m. - 11:15 a.m.
  • Audition II:
    • Saturday April 12th 9:30 a.m. - 11:15 a.m.
  • Audition III:
    • Friday May 2nd  6:00 p.m. - 7:15 p.m

NOTE ON AUDITIONS: Auditions are for students, age 8 and up, who have had previous dance experience and are not currently placed in our school. Students already enrolled in Dance Institute do not audition. Students may call (330.972.7949) for a reservation and placement audtion form, or may download them from this website. Be sure to include a photo in first arabesque with your form. Pre-registration is required. For more information, visit the Summer Auditions page.

    • 2:00 - 3:30 intermediate through advanced Work Summary Performance at Daum Theatre.

  • Fall semester begins
