Pre-Ballet / Pre-Tap / Fairy Tale Dance

Saturdays: June 5 - June 26 (4 classes)
- Fairy Tale Dance (ages 3-5)
- 10:00 a.m.-10:45 a.m.
- A fun and creative introduction to the integration of dance and music for young children. Children combine basic motor skills with their imaginations to explore the world of movement.
- Pre-Ballet (ages 4-7)
- 10:00 a.m.-10:45 a.m.
- An introduction to basic ballet vocabulary and positions of the arms and legs. Children experience dance conceptually and technically through the development of simple movement sequencing.
Fee for either class session: $58.00 ($10.00 registration for new students.)
Tuesdays and Thursdays: June 29 -July 22 (4 weeks/twice a week)
- Pre-Ballet (ages 4-7)
- 5:15 p.m.- 6:00 p.m.
- An introduction to basic ballet vocabulary and positions of the arms and legs. Children experience dance conceptually and technically through the development of simple movement sequencing.
- Pre-Tap (ages 4 and up)
- 6:15 pm.- 7:00 p.m.
- An introduction to the placement of weight in the foot to achieve basic sounds and rhythms. Black jazz oxford shoes are recommended.
Fee for either class session: $112.00 ($10.00 registration for new students.)
Note: Parent observation will be the last class of the session.
DRESS CODE:
- Girls: Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers. Hair is to be neatly secured off the face.
- Boys: White t-shirt, black tights, white socks, white or black ballet slippers.
