Instructions for Internet Explorer

1.  At the bottom of the View menu, go to Internet Options.
2.  Click on the Advanced tab, and scroll down to Multimedia.
3.  Uncheck the box for "Smart Image Dithering".

 

Instructions for America Online

1.  On the toolbar at the top, select My AOL.
2.  Select "Preferences" and from there choose the WWW box.
3.  Select the Web Graphics tab and uncheck the "Use Compressed Graphics" box.

 

Both browsers are primarily the same, so another thing you may want to do is click on "Delete Temporary Internet Files" in the General tab.   This will purge the corrupted graphics from your cache if you have looked at the site prior do performing the above steps.  The next time you access the site, the graphics will load slowly.  However, anytime you load the site thereafter, the graphics will appear in the normal amount of time.
