Leadership
- Become an active member of the school or district technology committee - Example
- Become involved with the decision-making process as it relates to instructional technology at all levels (School, district, Board)
- Write grants for technology related equipment, software or other support.
- Review your school's technology plan.
- Work with hardware and software vendors to advance school technology resources
- Visit with other schools to learn how they are solving technology related challenges.
- Tutor your colleagues (hardware, software, networking problems) - Example
- Attend conferences and bring that knowledge back to your job.
- Develop acceptable use policies.
- Any presentations that you make using or about instructional technology.
- Continued education through courses/workshops (not counted toward masters degree)
