The objectives of the Center's research activities are to:
  • collect data on family-related issues;
  • make available a pool of investigators trained in conducting family research;
  • identify models of family/environmental interactions which can enhance the quality of life.

Since 1979, research activities have covered a diverse range of topics from parent-child interactions to new approaches of mental health to the impact of social change on families. Some of the titles of the presentations which have been made are:
