Description of Books
The GFA collection includes over 80 books, bound dissertations and thesis. The archive collection of books ranges from rare and reproductions of rare guitar books published in the late 19th and early 20th century to more recent publications.
Topics covered by these books include; biographical information about famous guitar personalities such as Segovia, Pujol and Giuliani; historical information about early guitar, lute and vieula repetoire and instruments; 19th century guitar methods; classical guitar pedagogy; popular guitar styles and methods.
