Description of ScoresThe GFA collection, started by Thomas Heck in 1974, has grown to include over 1600 scores ranging from facsimiles of 17th & 18th Century Guitar books to modern works for guitar. Its principle strength is in early 19th-Century Classic Guitar Music -- its so-called "core collection".Currently it includes nearly the complete works of Giuliani in first/early editions, some of which are original prints, the remainder being in photocopy or photstat format. In addition there are photocopies of a number of original titles in the Krick Collection, courtesy of the Gaylord Music Library at Washington University, St. Louis and from the Easely Collection, as well as donations from guitar aficionado's all over the world.
