Benefits
The Honors College extends a wide array of benefits to its students. These include:
- priority registration - first priority at every standard registration for classes so that you can have the classes you need, with the instructors you select, during the semesters and at the hours you prefer,
- a range of Honors College scholarships,
- the full use of the facilities in the Academic Wing of the Honors Complex, open continuously to all Honors students, whether residents of the Complex or commuter students,
- the opportunity to live with other highly-motivated Honors students in either the residential wing of the Honors Complex, including the attached Orr Hall,
- special recognition at graduation and on your transcript,
- personal honors faculty advisors, as well as our own academic advisors,
- participation in community events with groups such as the Honors Club, the Honors Business Group, the Association of Honors Educators, the Honors Delegates, the Honors Book Group, and the Rhythm & 'Roos a cappella singers.
- honors sections of introductory courses,
- work closely with faculty in small honors colloquia courses,
