The "Honors Delegates" of The Honors College

Applications for the Honors Delegates are available at the Honors College office. The Honors Delegates, official representatives of the Honors College at The University of Akron, is a student organization that was initiated in the Fall of 2000.
The Honors Delegates main responsibility is to interact with dignitaries visiting the Honors College. If you are an Honors College student and want to join the Delegates, contact president Elissa Ras at [elissaras@yahoo.com].

Preparing for your Honors Research Project
This announces a sequence of three seminars to help prepare current Honors students, especially sophomores or juniors, for your Honors Research Project. Students should plan to attend all three sessions. Dates for the Honors Research Seminars are:
March 31, April 7, and April 14
Each will be held from 4-5 p.m. in room 082 of the Honors Complex

Summer Scholars Program for Business Majors
The College of Business Administration has announced a new summer program supporting students in research. It's called The University of Akron CBA Summer Scholars Program.
Applications are due in early December!

Please consider participating in a special competition:
The Ben Auburn Award in Cultural Criticism.
Students who have developed a record in any form of Cultural Criticism are invited to submit their work in spring, 2008 for this special award. See the link to more information on this event on the right side of this page. The 2007 Symposium was held in late April.
