Rhythm & 'Roos - The Honors College a Cappella Singers

Founded in 2005, the Rhythm & 'Roos is a mixed a cappella singing group of 18 students.   The 'Roos sing at many types of special UA events, including Honors College events, sports events, and other student and alumni gatherings. 

In February, 2007, the 'Roos were chosen to be one of nine groups from four states to compete in the Intercollegiate a cappella regional competition held at the University of Michigan.

Honors students or their friends interested in participating in a mixed SATB a cappella singing group are invited to complete the interest form below.    Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings, 7:00-8:30 p.m. in Room 092 in the Honors Complex.   

Auditions for new members will take place in the first two weeks after the opening week of Fall semester, 2007.  No rehearsal on August 29.  Any interested students are invited to attend an open rehearsal on Wednesday evening, September 5 at, 7 p.m. in the practice room mentioned earlier.  Formal auditions will be held during the usual rehearsal time on the following Wednesday evening, September 12.
