Computer Based Education & Testing

Computer Based Education is a form of individualized, interactive instruction which uses the computer as a medium for instruction.  In a CBE program, the computer presents the material much the same way a teacher would, but has the added ability of maintaining students progress records and identifying student problem areas.

Computer Based Testing is an online testing system used by many classes on this campus.  Testing programs can only be used by students who are enrolled in the courses that require the testing.  All tests are adminstered in one computer lab located in Carroll Hall 325.  The lab is monitored carefully and graduate students are on hand at all times to assist with technical aspects of computer testing.
