Using OhioLINK to Locate Materials in Other Libraries

The Ohio Library and Information Network, OhioLINK, is a consortium of Ohio's college and university libraries and the State Library of Ohio. Serving more than 500,000 students, faculty, and staff at 79 institutions, OhioLINK's membership includes 17 public universities, 23 community/technical colleges, 38 private colleges and the State Library of Ohio. OhioLINK serves faculty, students, staff and other researchers at member institutions via 113 campus-based library systems and networks, and the Internet.

OhioLINK's online borrowing system allows individuals to electronically request books while searching the OhioLINK central catalog. A delivery service set up among member institutions provides the means for the exchange of library items.

Patrons can access the central catalog, research databases, information about member institutions, text to user guides, and new service announcements connecting to OhioLINK through the ZipLink menu or through the Internet.  Access to the research databases is restricted to individuals with valid ID at OhioLINK member institutions.
