• More time than expected was spent implementing PromptCat. Initially III had our system set up to load YBP Approval Records (shipping records) and PromptCat through the same loader. Changes made to the loader in order to facilitate loading YBP Approval records adversely effected the loading of PromptCat records and vice versa. Eventually, a second loader was installed.

• In the beginning, complete fund codes were not being entered when selecting titles in GOBI. This caused problems when loading records into the system. YBP was able to set up a fund code validation script. UL provided YBP with a list of valid fund codes. Fund codes entered are compared to this list. Invalid, incomplete, or incorrect fund codes are not accepted.

• Some time was spent exploring INNOPAC duplicate checking options (full title, title key, and title/ISBN. Although none of the options are ideal, UL opted for full title duplicate checking.
