Records loaded in INNOPAC
  1. Duplicate checking
  2. Brief bibliographic records created
  3. Order records created
  4. Possible duplicates receive order status "1" (on hold)
  5. All others receive order status "o" (on order)

Systems creates and prints list of orders with order status "1"

V

Print list of records with order status "1" goes to Cataloging for review

V

Bibliographic and order records deleted and order returned to Bibliographer for actual duplicate titles

V

If necessary, order records are transferred to existing bibliographic records for additional copies and editions, etc. False duplicates and transfer/deletes are returned to Systems. Systems forwards to Acquisitions for processing (order status changed to "o")

V

All orders from current GOBI load with status "o" are ready for electronic ordering

V

Acquisitions processes orders via electronic ordering interface
