Photos by Robert A. Tekulve, photographer, U.S. Marine Corps.
From the collection of Jon C. Tekulve.

The exact origin of all photos has not been ascertained. As Robert Tekulve associated with other photographers, both amateur and professional, it is possible that some of the images were received as gifts, or in trade for his images. To the best knowledge of the Tekulve family, these photos are his copywritten work.

Note: some combined images are presented as individual shots, and also (towards the bottom) as the larger combinations in which they were stored/scanned. Aside from this, and cropping edges, no modifications were made to the provided images. Some scans of photo negatives have also been included. The sequence of the photos is more or less random. Mr. Tekulve saw fit to place a few news clippings in the collection, and these have been included.

Many, perhaps most of the photos are of Majuro Atoll, in the Central Pacific (News: Pacific Magazine, Pacific Islands Report) the current capital of the Republic of the Marshall Islands (Embassy, News and Marshallese Life).
