All students (graduate or undergraduate) who are pursuing teaching
licensure in a foreign language through the College of Education are
required upon admission prior to beginning their coursework in the
foreign language to come to the Department of Modern Languages and
to meet with the chair and/or the language section coordinator, in
order to be assigned a co-advisor in Modern Languages.
2. All students (graduate or undergraduate) who are pursuing teaching
licensure in a foreign language through the College of Education are
required upon admission prior to beginning their coursework in the
foreign language to take a diagnostic examination administered by
the Department of Modern Languages, in order to determine their level
of language proficiency and the proper level of course placement.
