The University of Akron Division of Information Technology is charged with the responsibility for information services including enterprise-wide academic and business applications, learning technologies and scholar/learning services, computing hardware and operating system infrastructure to support academic and administrative initiatives, networking and telecommunication services, institutional planning and assessment initiatives as required under University Rule 3359-05-01.
