EAST CAMPUS PARKING DECK

Description: A 1,100-space parking deck has been constructed on the eastern boundary of the campus.

Location: Block bordered by Buchtel Avenue, Route 8, Carroll Street and Spicer Street.

Construction Start: Spring 2000

Project Complete: Summer 2001

NORTH CAMPUS PARKING DECK

Description: A five level, 1146(+/-) car parking deck on the northern edge of campus.

Location: Block bordered by East Buchtel Avenue, College Street, Forge Street and Hill Street.

Construction Start: Summer 2002

Project Complete: Summer 2003

Project Budget: $13,500,000

Note: An additional new parking facility near Wolf Ledges is in the initial planning stage.
 

PARKING FACILITIES RENOVATIONS

E.J. Thomas Parking Deck Phase I

Description: Repair and restoration of the concrete deck on all levels. Repair and restoration of all expansion joints. Install new waterproof membranes all levels. Paint entrance and install drainage.

Location: 198 Hill St.

Renovation Start: Spring 2000

Exchange Street Parking Deck

Description: Repair and restoration of deteriorated concrete on levels one through five and drive ramps. Repair/install expansion joints. Install new waterproof membrane. Clean and paint all structural steel. Repair existing standpipe system. Install exterior panels.
