Scenes by Alison Searle and Rick Miyajima

Example 1

A soft breeze blows through the naked forest, and a sharp silence fills the air with a feeling of death. Battle cries have been carried away into the blackness of night, and widows weep with agony. Tears fall slowly down a young girl's cheeks, as she stares through a shattered window pane trying to collect her thoughts.

Veiled bodies are strewn about the battlefield, and a dying man retrieves a tattered photograph of his wife and daughter, so as to remember them as he waits to greet them in God's kingdom. A small boy, victim of emotions, stands confused and afraid, wondering what happened to the father he never knew. When will mankind acquire sanity?

Example 2

The grizzly bear, an excellent fisherman, grabs a leaping salmon. He wades through the water. The freezing temperature has no effect on him. Carrying the fish back to the bank, he gives it to his anxious cubs and they willingly accept.

Walking back to the river, he gives a low grunt and steps in. Catching a salmon for himself, he again returns to the bank, shakes his body to release the water from his fur and eats the wriggling fish hungrily.
