NSBE Cares: Community Service

Cultural & Community Awareness is being aware of the status of one’s community on a local and global level. It defines a person who remains politically aware and/or active and is fervently committed to giving back to the community through donations of service, time and money. As stated in the NSBE mission, we aim to positively impact the community. Community service is one of our primary objectives and NSBE would like to become more active in Akron and its surrounding communities. Possible service projects include food, toy, and clothing drives, adopting a family, neighborhood clean-up, and volunteering labor. Possible activities include Collegiate Challenge w/ Habitat for Humanity, Christmas toy drive, winter coat drive for the homeless, etc.
