The Collegiate Nursing Club (CNC) is opened to all students in the baccalaureate program and students intending to major in nursing.
The purpose of the club is to provide a closer bond and a more unified spirit among students and faculty in order to further the ideals and purposes of the College of Nursing. The CNC provides opportunities to become more involved with the University of Akron, the College of Nursing, professional organizations, and the Akron Community. The functions of the club are to promote and maintain high educational standards and to provide an arena for exchange of ideas. Creativity, self-expression as well as participation in group activities are paramount for club members. The Collegiate Nursing Club encourages membership and involvement in the National Student Nurses Association (NSNA).
