Goals and Objectives

• To facilitate collaboration between The University of Akron, the Akron Public Schools, and the Summit County Schools.

• To establish an inventory (database) of local school-university collaborative initiatives.

• To utilize school-university collaboratives' inventory (database) in support of school-university strategy development.

• To collect, aggregate, and analyze University of Akron, Akron Public and Summit County School students' trend data in terms of enrollment and graduation.

• To implement and evaluate innovative school-university collaboratives designed to enhance P-16 student achievement and success.

• To determine an appropriate level of funding to support council initiatives.
