Motorcycles
Mainly in use during the summer months, our motorcycle unit participates in many special events, as well as performing standard patrol duties. Not just a "pretty face", motorcycles are cost effective (cost less to buy/lease and operate), more maneuverable in congested traffic and able to go places a cruiser just can't. UAPD motorcycles perform traffic escorts for dignitaries, athletic teams and others.
