 UAPD Welcomes Two New Officers
William "Bill" Barath has a bachelors degree from The University of Akron and was self employed.   Bill has been a member of the City of Akron Police Department Reserve Officer program for over 16 years.  You undoubtedly have come across Bill as he is always directing traffic for events at the Chapel on Fir Hill.  Bill will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to his new position as a patrol officer for our department.  Bill started on February 13th.



Gregory Westbrook has a bachelors degree from Mount Vernon Nazarene College and is a graduate of the Stark State Technical College police academy.  Gregory started his law enforcement career at Franklin Twp PD and currently has been at the Hills and Dales police department for about the past year.  Gregory will be started as a patrol officer for UAPD on February 20th.
