Prerequisite: Appropriate background is two semesters of calculous or equivalent. Applications of statistical theory to natural and physical sciences and engineering, including probability distributions, interval estimation, hypotheses testing (parametric and nonparametric), and simple linear regression and correlation.

Rationale
Since the title of Applied Statitics II (3470:562) was changed in AS-06-48 to Applied Regression and ANOVA, courses are no longer in sequence. This proposal simply removes the "I" from the title to indicate the non-sequential nature of the two courses previously known as Applied Statistics I and II.
