Rationale:
In order to meet employer demand for graduates who have proficiency in global sales management, the Department of Marketing proposes that the Graduate Certificate in Global Sales Management be approved.

Program

The Global Sales Management Certificate is a special course of study which prepares an individual for a career in managing a global sales force. The program takes into account the complexities of culture as far as doing business in foreign countries.

Admission

To participate in the program, the student must be formally admitted to The University of Akron as a graduate or non-degree graduate student, and complete at least 15 credits. Students should visit the Director for Graduate Studies in Business Administration to request that notation of the certificate be included on the student's transcript as soon as the course of study is completed.
