The changes are based on feedback from a forum of Human Resource executives and professionals.
Bulletin description:
Program
The Human Resource Management Certificate is a course of study that educates
an individual who seeks a career in Human Resources or who is working in Human
Resources without having had formal training.
Admission
To participate in the program, the student must be formally admitted to The University
of Akron as a graduate or non-degree student and must complete 15 credits.
Students should visit the Director of Graduate Studies in Business
Administration to request that notification of the certificate be included on the student’s
transcript as soon as the course of study is completed. Students admitted
to the Human Resource Management Certificate Program may enroll only in those
courses required for completion of the certificate.
