| Rationale: | |
| As a result of the last TAC/ABET evaluation, it was discovered that the AAS degree was one credit hour short in the natural science category. Therefore, an additional (fourth) physics course was added as a requirement to the AAS degree. This caused a total overage of one credit hour in the general education natural science requirement at the BS level. Now, we wish to eliminate the 4 credit hour geology course and replace it with simply a 3 credit hour natural science requirement. One technical elective is also being added to the program by this proposal. | |
