Replace 2990:498 Independent Study in Construction (3 credits) (currently required) with 2990:246 Site Engineering (3 credits). The Site Engineering course has applications in pavement design and thus is more relevant to the certificate.

CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY
Certificate Program in Heavy Construction

REQUIREMENTS:

A minimum of 17 hours is required.

This certificate program is aimed at developing technical knowledge and skills necessary to supervise a highway construction project. This certificate may be earned independently of earning a degree, but all coursework can be applied to the B.S. degree in Construction Engineering Technology.
