| Brief Summary of Proposal | It is proposed to add entries to the Graduate Bulletin to reflect an existing cooperative arrangement between the Chemistry and Physics Departments whereby students may proceed to a Ph. D. in Chemistry on the basis of dissertation research in chemical physics carried out in the Physics Department. Such students are subject to exactly the same degree requirements as other candidates for a Ph. D. in Chemistry. No changes in the Chemistry Ph. D. Program or in the existing cooperative arrangement between the two departments are proposed. |
