| Brief Summary of Proposal | The current Applied Mathematics program consists of two Options, Option I and Option II. Each of these Options has a thesis option and a non-thesis option. Both options in each Option require a Comprehensive Examination consisting of five exams. We propose to drop the examination requirement from the thesis option in each of the Options. We shall keep the examination requirement in the non-thesis option in each of the Options. |
